Visit to the newspaper in St. Pierre. Georges Didier explains to the students how the newspaper is printed, fed through a sorting machine and stapled together. The newspaper is published every two weeks and is created entirely within the community.
The elementary classes had a wonderful time in St. Pierre. Thank you to Mrs. King and Mrs. McCarthy who chaperoned the students and to our parent drivers Mrs. Du Toit, Mrs. Hamann, Mrs. Brothers, and Mr. Reynolds. The students visited two schools, the pastry shop, a museum, the bakery and the St. Pierre newspaper where they had their photo taken for next week’s edition! See more pictures below and watch for all our trip pictures to be added to the Photos section of our website.
