Students at Immaculate Heart of
Mary School raised $3,300 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation through
the Jump Rope For Heart Campaign.
Teacher, Mr. Bruce Gillard,
challenged students to raise $2,500. As an incentive, he said the student who
raised the most money could shave his head!
Grade 6 student, Maria Reynolds,
raised $299.50 earning her the right to shave Mr. Gillard's head.
What a great effort by all our
students for this great cause! And we have to say, Mr. Gillard, you’re a great
sport!
