from the Colemans Kids Eat Healthy Program. This generous donation will be used
for the Kids Eat Smart Breakfast Program that operates daily at the school.
We would like to extend my gratitude to Mr. Wayne Allen for
bringing the School Golf Session to Immaculate Heart last week. On Thursday and
Friday all classes at IHMS had the opportunity to hone their skills in putting
and chipping. Some students even had the chance to drive a few golf balls at
their Phys. Ed teacher while wearing the special target suit! If parents would
like more information about the summer golf program for young children you can
contact Mr. Gillard at the school for more information.
On Tuesday, the Student Council sponsored a Dress-up Day and
on Thursday we hosted a Pyjama Day. On Pyjama Day students once again jumped
for good reason at IHMS. Students joined in the gymnasium in bright coloured
PJ’s and skipped, bounced and jumped in aid of the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Fun was had by all and each student got to leave with their very own skipping
rope!
Class and group photos were taken on Wednesday.
Our Junior High students began their exams this week. They
conclude on Monday, June 17th.
We would like to wish best of luck to Chloe Colbourne,
Hailey Colbourne, Alex Williams, and Megan Williams who will be competing in
the Hershey Track and Field Competition in St. John’s on Saturday.
