Everyone had a great time at the agri-food and garden show last Friday at the Pepsi Centre.  We tasted lots of great food and saw some baby chicks hatching.

Our JK teachers attended a workshop last week for Western Health.

Thank you to Mr. Graham for playing at church last Friday.
We have a new public health nurse this year. Her name is April Dakins. She will be in our school on Tuesday mornings.
Our teachers are hard at work on a new environmental grant. Thank you to Mr. Sean Dolter from Model Forest and Mr. Blaine Hussey from the Department of Agriculture for meeting with staff about the project on Tuesday.
Also on Tuesday Mr. Charles Cameron visited our school and offered his expertise and experience in our new learning resource centre.
On Wednesday we had our annual Terry Fox Walk. Thank you to Mrs. George who did a live broadcast on the IHMS channel about Terry Fox and Mr. Gillard who organized the event.

This week we welcome two nursing students doing a work placement in Mrs. Hodder’s Kindergarten English classroom. They are Michael Hinks and Jessica Strowbridge.

Today is medical theme day. We are raising money for the WMRH Foundaition Radio-thon. Also, vegetable orders are due today.
