It’s September again and we welcome back all of our teachers and students, and some new faces as well.

Our school opening Mass was Friday. Thank you to Mr. Graham for coming and playing the organ at church to celebrate the opening of the school year. We welcome Father Edward Terry to our Parish. Father Terry visited our school this week and even made an announcement at recess during the IHMS news.

We also welcome to our school international students from Mexico and Brazil. From Mexico we have Nicolas Emiiano and Juan Carlos Ramirez in grade 7 and  Iker Andre  and Ale Hernandez in grade 8, as well as Wesley Calvalcante in Level 1 from Brazil. Juan brought us a beautiful portrait of Mary to hang in our school from his family in Mexico.

Our afterschool program began last week. Thank you to Lynn Pond Evans who has been helping with the activities.

Our school is busy preparing for the grand opening of our greenhouse on September 30th. We are growing cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, herbs and pumpkins.

The grades 3 to level 1 students have started learning about Lego Robotics. Everyone is very excited.
