During December, staff held a school wide hot breakfast. Enjoying breakfast are student Matthew Birmingham and his mother Lori Birmingham

The students and staff of Immaculate Heart of Mary School would like to welcome everyone back to school. We would also like to wish everyone a very happy New Year!

We would like to extend a warm welcome to our 4 new students: Ava Doman (Junior Kdgt.), Charlotte Mercier (Kdgt. French Immersion), Isabelle Mercier (Grade 1 French Immersion), and Emma Doman (Grade 4).

Before the Christmas holidays, some of our students sponsored a bake sale to raise money to purchase chickens for Christmas dinner for people in Kenya. They donated their money to Hailey Kawaja who started the project.

On the last day of school before holidays, the Student Council hosted a Variety Show which was a tremendous success. Many thanks to all who participated! The Student Council made a gift for every teacher and presented it to them during the Variety Show. The teachers would like to thank the student council for their beautiful and thoughtful gifts.

Beginning on Monday, we will be having a penny drive in aid of the Greenhouse Project.

Next week the Public Health nurse will be doing sessions with the Grade 2, 4, 5 and 6 students.

Friday, January 18th  Grade 7- Level 1 students will begin their Mid Term exams. A schedule and guidelines were sent to our homes the middle of December.
