On Saturday there was an auction and entertainment night fundraiser for our community playground fundraiser. Thank you to all the performers, organizers, volunteers, and sponsors for making this night a success. The auction raised over $6,000 for our project. We now have raised over $22,000 for our playground.

Our first live broadcasts from the media centre began this week. On Monday the junior high class, and grades 3-6 each did a live broadcast. On Tuesday kindergarten and grades 1 and 2 did their broadcasts and on Wednesday the junior kindergartens did their live broadcasts. It was very exciting to see everyone on the classroom tvs.
