Today we are having our Thanksgiving Day dinner. Thank you to Academy Canada for cooking the meal, Mrs. Reynolds for organizing the dinner, and to the parents for serving us.
The veggie orders arrived on Wednesday, just in time for Thanksgiving! Our families sold over 600 bags of vegetables!

This week we collected food items for the food bank. We will make the donation today during our meal.

Thank you to Mr. Cameron for helping in our library again this week.

We are having a penny drive during October and November for an orphanage in Haiti.

Our school raised over $700 for the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation through our theme day. Thank you to Mrs. McCarthy and Ms. Bennett for bringing our students over to make the donation and the Jenna Yetman and Katerina Hamann who spoke on the radio about our fundraiser.

Today is also World Smile Day, so put on your best smile.
Enjoy the long weekend! There will be no school on Monday for the Thanksgiving holiday.
